It has become almost a yearly tradition to have a tree, for the festive season, set up in Valletta. The first blown glass tree was set up in 2011 by the local glass blowers, Mdina Glass. It takes the form of a seven metre glass tree that has over 2,000 handmade glass baubles, attached to an inner structure.
