A Pleasant Surprise to a Lovely Couple
AX The Saint John, located in the heart of Malta’s capital city Valletta, welcomed its 1,000 guest on Tuesday 17th April 2018. Having only opened in August 2017, with an occupancy of approximately 20 rooms, this achievement is an incredible milestone for the boutique hotel.
Viktoria Wetzlmayer and her husband travelled to Malta from Austria. They chose AX The Saint John for their one-week holiday on the Maltese Islands. As a compensation for choosing the boutique hotel in Valletta, and for being The Saint John’s 1,000 guest, the team planned a special surprise for this lovely couple.
As soon as they stepped into AX The Saint John, the Wetzlmayer couple were greeted by The General Manager and the accommodation’s team. Amidst their surprise, it was explained to them that they were the 1,000 guest to book at the accommodation. To celebrate, the team popped open a bottle of champagne and prepared a decorated cake for the guests.
Were they surprised? Definitely! The couple thanked AX The Saint John endlessly for this wonderful greeting! They were surely not expecting it!
After this mini celebration, the couple was then guided to their room to enjoy the rest of their holiday in Malta.
